An E-Verser is indeed a cowboy, out in Santa Fe. I regularly argue that there are very few actual cowboys, particularly when compared with the fantastic number of guys who pose as cowboys, hats, boots, and all. Well, my old pal Jeff Kennedy is, in fact, a cowboy, and he’s sent me a picture to prove it.

We used to work together as temps in the World Financial Center in downtown Manhattan with E-Verser Boo Froebel (now the director of Lincoln Center Festival) and E-Verser Eric Bohnenstiel (now a VH1 Heavy Metal Expert/Host). I recently wrote to Jeff because we once went to a Hell’s Angels party and I was hoping he could remember some more of it than I can (yes, I’m working on a poem about it, boring
