It’s no secret that I’m a fan of comics and, ahem, graphic novels.

I’ve been a fan of Ink Puddle Comics for some time, particularly the Devil and Mr. Gandhi series.

It occurred to me a while back that Devil might have been based a bit on me, though the artist has denied such rumors.

I wondered why I hadn’t in fact been depicted yet in a comic, and, lo and behold, today I log onto Twitter and there I am, construed as an annoyingly over-read comic (ahem, again, Graphic Novel) aficionado!

I think he got the nose right, don’t you? I’m charmed, as one ought to be, and flattered by the attention. Next month, I may write something about how I am referred to (sardonically) in a recently-published coming-of-age memoir as “Ambitious Poet with No Self-Doubt.”
