Famous English mystic and magician Aleister Crowley was born on October 12th 1875 in Royal Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, England. It just so happens that E-Verser Dr. Mitchell lives next door to the house (he previously lived in a house called Sollershot, which was beside J.R.R. Tolkien’s grave in Oxford). He was strolling by the Crowley house and snapped a picture for us. Here he is in his own words:

Here is a snap of Aleister Crowley’s birthplace in Leamington Spa, 36 Clarendon Square. It’s in a very nice part of town. I would have taken more, since there are four storeys, but there was twitching at the curtains. Not sure whether this was an indignant occupant or a summonation—or both.
