This is an E-Verse debut for the wild-man rocker tabby cat named Lester (full name, Wicked Lester Bangs). Wicked Lester was the original name of the band that went on to become KISS. Lester Bangs was the legendary rock critic and founder of Creem Magazine.

Lynn found Lester limping around the streets of West Philly. He had been bitten by something, and he was skinny as can be. I came home from recording at Widget Studios, and she said “don’t be mad, but I have a cat in the basement.” As soon as I saw him, I knew I wanted to keep him. Now he’s fixed (ouch!), innoculated, and at least double the weight he was when we brought him in off the streets. He’s friendly, stout, and makes a hell of a ruckus day and night. Because he is so chummy and obnoxious, we have taken to calling him Frat Cat. His frat is Kappa Alpha Theta. If he could, he would do keg stands. So here he is. Welcome Lester.
