Hey Folks,

We’ve all seen the news and the extent of the damage from the earthquakes in Haiti, the heartbreaking appeals for help. People who were miraculously rescued from collapsed buildings last week are now dying of infections that cost just a few dollars to treat. I’ve thought about supporting the relief efforts by donating to the Red Cross, a trusted organization.

I’ve included some information below about how/where to support the cause. Please consider that a few dollars can really make a difference. What we might spend on lunch for a day or two can add up to life or death for someone in need.

I know when we see disasters like this on the news we’re all grateful for our safe and comfortable lives. Let’s think about helping those whose lives have been disrupted beyond anything we can imagine.
