Is this meant to poke fun at someone’s artistic style or pointing out the dismay of a lost art.
There are many houses throughout many cities with similar fronts.
A bye gone era, YES, try having it made today.

It’s quite beautiful, so I don’t think anyone is poking fun, here. Here in Philadelphia, one is more likely to see such style added to a car in an effort to make it more flashy. I’ve never seen it before, so it was new to me, as it was to the person who sent it in. If you’ve got more information on it, particularly images, please send it in.

too bad it won’t fly in the suburbs—-It’s so urban chic and a great practical solution to protecting wooden window frames rather than constantly repainting.

By the way, Michael, you do really nice work from what I can see. If I had the money, I’d have stained glass in the arc window in the front of my house in west Philly. Maybe we could do a blog post about your company.

Ernie,
Thanks for the complements.
As for the blog post, come see the studio, we’re in Frankford, near the end of the Frankford El.
A quick visit to S. Philly will render you a wealth of Stainless Steel images that will last a life time.
Again, I have to thank Cynthia for introducing me to your site.
Well done!
I check in every day .
