Ernest Hilbert the Rooster Overthrown

It seems that Ernest Hilbert, a proud, fine bird named after the poet and blogger, was recently diminished before his hens. He was chased through the dewy heather by a pair of determined, sapphire-coated peacocks. No longer such an alpha male!
Chin up, Ernest Hilbert. You’ll one day rule the roost again.
