Bethany’s Top Five Flat-chested TV Actresses Who Would Never Make it Today

In these days of routine breast implants it’s pretty standard to see quite large-breasted women, and it’s getting increasingly rare to see women with smaller cup sizes on TV and in movies. I was recently watching some old TV and shocked at the differences: you just so seldom see such flat-chested women on TV today (with the exception of Debra Messing). For example:
5. Lindsay Wagner, the Bionic Woman
If they made this show today, they wouldn’t stop at fake legs, arm, and ear. Oh, wait, they did remake the show two years ago. The title character was played by this actress.
4. Diana Rigg, Mrs. Peel of The Avengers
3. Kate Jackson: do you think she’d even be considered for Charlie’s Angels today with that profile?
2. Gilda Radner and Laraine Newman of the original SNL cast
1. Mary Tyler Moore

Good point, but Natalie Portman, Rachel McAdams and even Carly Pope all find work. Only Lindsay Wagner and Diana Rigg were so breastless that they’d never be cast in their kick-ass roles today (it was Uma Thurman in The Avengers movie). But equally flat-chested Milla Jovovich does get those parts, although in her favor she’s clearly in better condition than Lindsey or Diana ever were. Moore was the perky, America’s sweetheart type. Radner and Newman were comediennes whose jobs didn’t depend on cup size, while Kate Jackson was typecast as the ‘smart one’ and buttoned up while her friends ran around in bikinis.

Yep, that seems to be true. Lots of women who weren’t large chested were getting roles back in the day. And Lindsay Wagner was totally, utterly beautiful, too. Milla Jovovich is just so gorgeous that she gets roles anyway…hmm…kinda like Lindsay Wagner back then. Helen Slater’s another one (Supergirl). Daryl Hannah (Splash) is probably another canonical example. Never have I seen a more perfectly proportioned physique than hers in that movie. A few that might equal it, yes, but not exceed. Maybe that’s just personal taste, but that’s what I like. A lot.

Theres nothing wrong at all with these women acting in these roles. Why in fact I would prefer their small breasts to fake ones any day!
In Mary Tyler Moore’s defense, I remember seeing her picture on the cover of a magazine and she was wearing an Ice Skaters like outfit and her figure was awesome! And at an advanced age.
I don’t really remember noticing Lindsays lack of breast size. Her eyes were so beautifull you really didn’t have to look elsewhere.
Of all those you listed perhaps Lauren Tewes (who was only 17 when she started on Love boat) was the one who flaunted the fact that her breasts were undersized. While she never wore a bikini she wore lots of low cut dresses on the show. Good for her! She was the reason I watched the show! Especially season 1 when she had that Dorthy Hamill haircut and was so cute and sexy. Out of all the guests that were on the Love Boat she would have been the reason I took a cruise!!
Honorable mention should go to Joanna Harris – An occasional loveboat Fantasy Island guest star.
Maybe it was the 70s, I don’t know but I liked it and would prefer it to alot of the fake boob jobs actresses have today.

You have obviously lost your mind. Lindsay Wagner is as hot as anyone on television today, not to mention she has great boobs.
Diana Rigg isn’t even remotely flat chested. Get your eyes checked.

You’ve GOT to be kidding.. Rigg was very much flat chested, particularly in her 20s and 30s. In the early Avengers episodes, they had her wearing a very heavily padded bra but you can tell in the later ones shes braless and a boyish chest.
Diana is also one of the most beautiful women I’ve ever seen and Kate Jackson was my favorite Angel too (she had normal hair while the other two had really big hair, even for the day.

Actually Mark, Diana was very much flat chested when she was Emma Peel. She filled out a litlte since then, not implant surgery miind you but her body just became a little fuller,
I think the way she looks on the Avengers is perfection. Gorgeous face, girlish figure. If I tried to build the perfect woman, she’d look very much like Emma Peel.
And oddly enough, Sabrina Duncan, aka Kate Jackson was my favorite angel. Not so much because of her figure but because I liked her hair. The other Angels always had hair that was too big.

Personally, i think young women who choose to have their breast enlarged look deformed. Any guy who wants a young woman with large breasts obviously have an infantile attitude, they were cut off too soon from breast -feeding. They have the mental age of an infant. I see nothing wrong with young women who are flat-chested. I think they should keep their natural look. I think young women who give into their boyfriend’s wishes to have their breasts enlarged should leave their boyfriends permently. If their boyfriends don;t like the way they look , they they should go find a guy who appreciates the way they are, and the groups who want to change the way the young women are, should be sent to a mental instirution for the mentally challenged. ( retarded ).
